“When you start a band, do you imagine how it will end?”
It’s hard sometimes for me to remember that this band is not a band anymore. It was way more sad to me than the White Stripes or R.E.M., both of which just felt like it was time. Danced my fucking ass off to one of the final LCD shows, at the barricade, alongside my laughably intoxicated coworker. Best show of 2011, me thinks.
Anyway, there was something else regarding LCD that caught my eye earlier this week, and I want to share it. Honestly makes me cringe…
“All My Friends,” such an anthem for my hipster generation. (OK, last time I’m using that word this year, promise.)
