Reblogging because it’s an “aww” read and because so much of this speaks to me - specifically, the gung-ho spirit that defined my time at an in-state (but v. credible) J-School, as well as the personal commitment to journalism that’s balanced with an understanding that hard news is not my place (and not wanting to let other people down with that).
